During their time with Yellowstone Historic Center in West Yellowstone, authors Ellen Butler and Kaitlin Johnson developed a great interest in Earthquake Lake and how it was created. Their fascination resulted in them collaborating to share this detailed account of the historic events surrounding the 1959 earthquake.
