Life under the sun can feel like a riddle wrapped in fog. Pleasure fades. Wealth evaporates. Wisdom frustrates. Death comes for all. The Teacher of Ecclesiastes faced these hard truths head-on and asked the question that still haunts humanity: What's the point of it all? Through his search for meaning, the Teacher exposes the futility of chasing satisfaction apart from God. Yet woven through his realism is a quiet call to joy-to fear God, keep his commandments, and receive life's fleeting gifts as tokens of grace. Ecclesiastes from Start2Finish is a 12-lesson journey through one of the Bible's most provocative books and will help Bible classes or small groups wrestle with life's deepest questions. In the process, important principles such as the brevity of life, the vanity of self-centered ambition, and the beauty of contentment in God will be affirmed.

A graduate of Freed-Hardeman University, he preaches for the Newport Avenue Church of Christ in Bend, Oregon.
