Abel Mondragon only wanted to cook-to wield spices, not spells. But the night masked captors drag him from his home, he's thrown into a nightmare of arcane torture and twisted experimentation. Alongside his brother, Antareus, Abel becomes a test subject for the Covenant of the Grey Ravens-an ancient order obsessed with weaponizing magic through pain. He escapes the facility... but not what they put inside him. Now, Abel fights a war on two fronts: against the monstrous forces that hunt him from the outside-and the volatile power that threatens to consume him from within. Worse still, he's haunted by the ghosts of those who didn't survive the experiments... including his own brother. As Abel struggles to piece himself back together, he finds unexpected allies-outcasts, runaways, and broken souls like him. A new kind of family. But even among them, the question remains: is he a survivor... or the very weapon the Ravens meant to create? Echoes of Demons is a dark fantasy steeped in grief, rage, and the fragile hope of redemption. The past doesn't stay buried-and Abel's ghosts are just getting started.
