Morgan grew up on a farm, so there was hard work, and there was... his imagination. Fuelled by the natural world around him, space exploration in Star Wars and Star Trek, the fantasy realms of mages and wizards, and the beautiful devotion of the fairies to their charges, his daydreams spanned realms and time!Recently, the opportunity to explore more of his imagination has led him to writing poetry for grown ups, and that ricocheted into opening up the world of young Sammy the Gnat. Sammy is just a young bug trying to figure out his way in this world we live in, and having a chance to persevere in the face of adversity. Morgan loves writing kid lit, for he laughs out loud at some of the scenarios he cooks up for Sammy (and other friends) to explore! His works often have themes of self-awareness of deeper truths, chaos into unity, and romantic love. His published books Echoes of the Deep, Whispers of the Deep, and Sammy the Gnat Gets a New Raincoat, provide perspectives on love and life to different ages and stages.While always interested in the subtle world around him, Morgan has begun exploring his own inner world. He creates his fantasy worlds by being excited and curious about the "story film" he sees inside his head as he is writing.He currently resides on Vancouver Island, Canada. When not crafting wordart, he loves exploring the beautiful Pacific Northwest.
