In this powerful second volume, Christian Lanciai expands the world of Echoes of the Heart with poems that travel beyond passion - into memory, meaning, and the quiet truths we uncover along the way. Where the echoes deepen... and every journey reveals the soul. In this powerful second volume, Christian Lanciai expands the world of Echoes of the Heart with poems that travel beyond passion - into memory, meaning, and the quiet truths we uncover along the way. Each piece is a story: of roads taken and lost, of love found and fractured, of dreams that falter yet rise again. Lanciai captures fleeting human moments with striking honesty - weaving them into lyrical reflections that linger like distant music. Both intimate and universal, these poems invite you to wander through life's hidden corridors, carrying with you the fragments of joy, sorrow, wonder, and hope that make us whole. Journeys, stories, and reflections... each poem a doorway, each doorway leading closer to the heart.
Autorenporträt
Born in Finland to an Italian grandfather and a Swedish-speaking family, the author grew up between cultures and continents. His father's career took the family from Finland to Argentina and later to Sweden, where the author's early encounter with Shakespeare at the age of eight inspired his lifelong dream of writing.Trained as a musician, he spent over 15 years as a piano teacher, six years as a church organist, and also worked as a piano tuner. While he never raised a family, he devoted his life fully to music and literature. As a composer, he created piano works in the classical-romantic tradition; as a writer, he has explored nearly every form-novels, short stories, plays, poetry, essays, history, and travel.Although most of his books were written in Swedish, he pursued the mastery of English, translating many of his plays and writing all of his English poetry directly in the language. His favorite modern author is Stefan Zweig, whose humanistic spirit resonates in his own work. Now in his seventies, he continues to share his creative voice through music, literature, and online recordings.
