Evergreen, Colorado native and folklorist Jack Daly is a doctoral candidate in American studies at Pennsylvania State University-Harrisburg, where he was the recipient of the prestigious University Graduate Fellowship. He has a master's degree in folklore from Utah State University, as well as bachelor's degrees in English, history and anthropology from the University of Kansas. In 2023, he was the recipient of the Warren E. Roberts Prize for the best paper of folk art and material culture from the American Folklore Society.
