Schoolchildren's eating behavior is strongly influenced by eating habits and linked to the age group to which they belong. Concerns about body image, habits, and customs of the group have very common characteristics. Skipping meals, consuming high-calorie, sugary, and nutrient-poor foods, and dietary restrictions are factors that can lead to poor eating habits and even severe eating disorders. The importance of the school environment on the formation of a child's behavior, eating habits, and personality is indisputable, as it occupies about 1/3 of their active life. It is, therefore, a conducive environment for the implementation of food and nutrition education programs, as it is embedded in all dimensions of learning: teaching, home-school-community relationships, and the physical and emotional environment.
