It is home to the remaining Elephants and Lions in Nigeria. It is under the management of Bauchi State Government. the Yankari Game Reserve (YGR) Infrastructure Upgrade Project ("the Project") - that will cater for visitors, ensuring that facilities within the YGR meet the expectations of visitors now and in the future.
