Martín Solares (México DF, 1972) trabajó en el mundo editorial mexicano durante bastantes años. En la actualidad colabora con la prensa cultural de su país y termina su doctorado en letras en la Universidad de la Sorbona en París. Ha sido editor de la selección de crónicas y relatos sobre crímenes, Nuevas líneas de investigación (Era, 2003). Manuel Monroy es un ilustrador y diseñador gráfico mexicano. Ha expuesto su obra en varios países y ha ilustrado más de 30 libros en México y Canadá, principalmente.
