Dr. Arunima Reghunadhan is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Limerick, Ireland. She is a doctoral degree holder in Chemistry with specialisation in Polymer Science and Technology from International and Interuniversity Centre for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam. She completed her doctoral research in recycled polyurethane- epoxy blend systems. She has published several research articles in journals of international repute, edited three books and co authored many book chapters. Her area of expertise includes blends and composites of varieties of polymers including biopolymers, elastomers, thermoplastics and thermosets, their characterisation and property evaluation. She was a postdoctoral fellow at the Department of Polymer Science and Rubber Technology, Cochin University of Science and Technology. She served more than five years as an Assistant professor (Ad hoc) in TKM College of Engineering, Kollam. Dr. Jiji Abraham is working as Asst. Professor in Chemistry in Vimala College (Autonomous) Thrissur since 2018. She completed PhD from International and Inter University Centre for Nanoscience and nanotechnology Mahatma Gandhi University Kottayam. Here research interests include Polymer nanocomposites, synthesis of nanomaterials etc. Dr. Abraham has published over 70 research articles which includes 33 journal paper sand 37 book chapters. She has edited two books entitled Rheology and processing of polymer nanocomposites published by Wiley and Handbook of Carbon Nanotubes by Springer. The H index of Dr. Abraham is 23 and has more than 1700 citations. Dr. Abraham was a visiting research student in Institut Charles Sadron CNRS UPR 22, University de Strasbourg, France from 10.12.2014 to 30.06.2015. She has presented papers in European Polymer Congress 2015, during 21-26 June, 2015, Dresden, Germany, Malaysia Polymer International Conference (MPIC 2017), during 19-20 July, 2017, Universiti Kebangsaan, Malaysia, International Polymer Characterization Conference POLY-CHAR 2019 [Kathmandu, Nepal] Polymer for Sustainable Development 19-23 May 2019. Dr. Abraham has delivered many presentations in National/International meetings. Prof. Sabu Thomas is currently serving as the Chairman of Trivandrum Engineering Science & Technology Research Park (TrEST Research Park), an organisation that promotes industry-oriented research in the academic environment. He was the Vice Chancellor of Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, Kerala. He was also a full professor of Polymer Science and Engineering at the School of Chemical Sciences of Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, Kerala, India and the Founder Director and Professor of the International and Interuniversity Centre for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology. He holds positions as the Director of School of Energy materials and School of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, MG University. He has received international acclaim for his work in nanoscience, polymer science and engineering, polymer nanocomposites, elastomers, polymer blends, interpenetrating polymer networks, green composites and nanocomposites, etc. Prof. Thomas has received a number of national and international awards which include: Fellowship of the Royal Society of Chemistry, London FRSC, Distinguished Professorship from Jozef Stefan Institute, Slovenia, MRSI medal, Nano Tech Medal, CRSI medal, Distinguished Faculty Award, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Award for Scientific Excellence, Lifetime Achievement Award by the Malaysian Polymer Group, Indian Nano Biologists award, and Sukumar Maithy Award for the best polymer researcher in the country, Honoured Professor of Siberian Federal University, Russia, Fellow of the International Association of Advanced Materials (FIAAM) Sweden, Bailey Medal Award, Kairali Lifetime Research Award by Kerala Government and many more.
