The study was carried out in Rangala area (Central Highland, Sri Lanka). Survey was done on pre-defined grid within abandoned Mine land. VLF - EM 16 low Frequency Electromagnetic receiver was used for the survey. Data collection was analyzed by using filtering methods and interpretations were made by considering various geological factors. The study was done in Year 2015, to fulfill the requirement for Bachelor of Science Degree in Geology, offered by the University of Peradeniya Sri Lanka.

Herr Prasad Karunarathne hat 2015 seinen Bachelor-Abschluss an der Universität von Peradeniya gemacht. Derzeit ist er Master of Science Student an der Universität von Peradeniya. Als junger Geowissenschaftler führte er ein BSc-Forschungsprojekt zur EM-Untersuchung der unterirdischen Graphitader durch.
