Electron-ion collision data is not only of great interest for atomic physics but also extremely important for modelling and diagnosing of astrophysical and laboratory plasmas. This book contain electron-ion recombination results for plasma relevant ions derived from measurements performed at the Stockholm Refrigerated Electron Beam Ion Trap (R-EBIT) and heavy-ion storage ring CRYRING. Both of these laboratory instruments provide an excellent and extraordinary experimental environment for these types of studies and yields very accurate recombination results. At the R-EBIT, highly charged sulphur and argon ions were studied by observing photons emitted from the trapped ions and by extracting the ions using a time-of-flight (TOF) technique. The results from X-ray and TOF technique are compared and presented in detail. Recombination experiments performed at CRYRING are reported for the ions B-like C, B-like Ne, and Be-like F. The recombination data obtained from these measurements are converted into temperature dependent plasma rates and parameterized for convenient use in plasma applications.
