Nato nella RDC nel 1973, Alain KACHANGA Bulere ha lavorato per 11 anni come insegnante in diverse scuole secondarie della città di Goma, prima di essere nominato prefetto degli studi presso l'Istituto Ziralo. È anche membro del corpo scientifico dell'Institut Supérieur Pédagogique et Technique come responsabile dei lavori.
