Keynin Carl Battle, born on November 27, 1996, in Spokane, Washington, is the author of the book, Elements of Change. The son of Lacrecia Marrie Hill and Justin Allen Battle, Keynin spent his early years in Las Vegas, Nevada before returning to Spokane during his junior high years. After high school, he participated in a special program called IMAGES (Independence Mobility Accountability Goals Employment Success). An avid outdoors enthusiast, Keynin enjoys hiking at the Medical Lake trail and the Centennial trail. His life experiences and passions have greatly influenced his writing, enabling him to connect with young adults of all genders.
