The development of entrepreneurships in the 21st century cannot occur without taking care of the natural environment. Having undertaken ecological activities, the entrepreneurs benefit at the economic, ecological and social levels. Therefore, the implementation and popularization of eco-management in companies is so important. EMAS had been launched by the European Parliament and Council (EC). It is a system of environment management directed at various organizations, e.g. financial institutions, schools, service providers, production entrepreneurships etc., which voluntarily would like to exceed the minimal scope of law provisioned directives, constantly limiting the negative influence of their activity on the environment. Agnieszka Ociepa-Kubicka, PhD, é professora assistente na Faculdade de Gestão da Universidade Tecnológica de Czestochowa. É doutorada na área da engenharia e proteção ambiental. É autora de inúmeras publicações na área da proteção ambiental, desenvolvimento sustentável e gestão.
