After working for over 40 years in various administrative positions, Lee wasn't ready for retirement and began writing a series of novels involving Jennifer Cahill, a young woman who followed her father's footsteps as a police officer in Chicago, Illinois. The first novel is entitled, At the Scene of the Crime, followed by Emeralds in the Rough, Murder in the School Yard, and Terror on the Magnificent Mile. Lee is married with three children, 12 grandchildren, and spends her time between Kingston, Ontario, Canada and Texas, U.S.A.
