Diversity Theory is a relatively new field of research in social and economic sciences that deals with the diversity, differences or distinctions between people. Over the past decades, it has further developed its research focus, which includes areas such as inequality and perspectives of use, and today attempts to uncover the resources and potential of individuals using various models and categories, among other things. This paper deals with measures that promote this awareness process and also builds a bridge to the concept of empowerment and experiential education. By presenting an innovative combination of methodological and didactic approaches, it shows how diversity can be conducive to the development of personal and social skills. Expert interviews with individuals from business, politics, academia and training practice contribute important perspectives and experiences and show that addressing diversity can create qualitative added value for those involved.
