Autorenporträt
AWSA Golden Scroll award winning author and illustrator, Nancy Haack grew up in a small New England town that could easily be the setting for a Hallmark movie. There she was raised with small town values that taught her the importance of family, community, and faith. Later, she studied graphic design at the University of Connecticut, along with English literature. Over the years she has had varied opportunities to use her artwork to enrich the lives of children; everything from bright, vibrant murals in elementary schools to coloring and game pages in children's magazines to facepainting for high-end entertainment companies. Today, she can be found with her dog, Henry, at her mountain studio where she is pursuing her lifelong passion of writing and illustrating children's books.
