Revenge... Dark magic... Murder... Looks like this time the bad guys really mean business. A storm is coming, borne on the wings of prophecy, and Morgan and Marissa stand squarely in the path of the tempest. They should be preparing to celebrate a joyous wedding. Instead, Marissa struggles to master her newfound powers, while Morgan becomes enmeshed in an unwelcome alliance to repay a debt of honor. As multiple cryptic prophecies unfold, the indomitable pair find themselves facing power-hungry wizards, treasure-hunting pirates, a wrangle of dragons, and an enigmatic woman driven by forbidden magic and revenge. When Morgan vanishes under suspicious circumstances and Marissa's power unexpectedly falters, the lines between enemies and allies swirl and blur like deadly Thundermist. With threats closing in from all quarters, Marissa's only hope to save her enchanted knight lies in taming the wild magic she never wanted.
Autorenporträt
Keith W. Willis graduated (long ago) with a degree in English Lit from Berry College, which has the distinction of being the world's largest college campus. He now lives in the scenic Hudson Valley/Adirondack region of NY with his wife Patty. Keith is certain those rumbling noises attributed to Henry Hudson's crew are really just the dragons grumbling. Keith's interests include reading classic fantasy/sci-fi and mystery novels; camping and canoeing; and cutthroat games of Scrabble. He began writing seriously in 2008, when the voices in his head got too annoying to ignore. He recently retired after twenty years of managing a group of database content editors at a global information technology firm. The Knights of Kilbourne series begins with TRAITOR KNIGHT (2015) which has won awards for both fantasy and romance. The series continues with DESPERATE KNIGHT (2017), ENCHANTED KNIGHT (2020), STOLEN KNIGHT (2022), and FATEFUL KNIGHT (2025). Book six in the series is underway, with a tentative release date of early 2027.For more info go to www.keithwillisauthor.com
