Marriages today face many challenges from various aspects of life. While some succumb to pressure and end, others flourish beautifully. This contrast raises the question: what contributes to marital stability? Some have attributed it to counseling in marriage and family life. This study, therefore, examined the role of premarital and marital counseling in the stability of Christian marriages in Adenta, a suburb of Accra. Structured data collection tools were used to randomly sample respondents. An interview guide was also employed to gather qualitative data from key informants, such as counselors and religious leaders, to gain judgmental and humanistic insights into the relationships between the variables studied. Overall, the findings indicate that premarital counseling has positively impacted marital stability among Christians in the area.
