This book creates recommendations for methods to increase classroom engagement, specifically in classrooms consisting of art/design students within a dual enrollment setting. The recommendations follow the investigation of literature and the examination of studies related to engagement features of young college students who are studying graphic design. Kelly trabalha como fotógrafa profissional desde 2005 e como designer gráfica desde 1993. Passou uma vida inteira a ensinar aos outros as competências que aprendeu durante estes anos e, finalmente, tornou-se instrutora de design gráfico em 2014. Tem uma galeria de arte em Kalamazoo, Michigan, e reside numa quinta numa comunidade rural do sudoeste do Michigan.
