Mit ihren magischen Thrillern für Erwachsene und insbesondere der Werwölfin Elena hat sie ein ganzes Genre begründet und einen riesigen Fanclub erlangt. Seit kurzem schreibt Kelley Armstrong mit der Serie 'Die dunklen Mächte' auch für junge Leser.Rachel Caine hat zahlreiche Romane geschrieben, darunter die Weather-Warden-Serie. Sie wurde in New Mexico geboren, arbeitete als Buchhalterin, Berufsmusikerin, Versicherungssachverständige und Unternehmerin. Sie lebt mit ihrem Mann in Texas, zusammen mit zwei Leguanen, einer Echse und einer Pantherschildkröte
