Autorenporträt
Emmanuel Levinas (1906-1995) was Professor of Philosophy at the Sorbonne and the director of the Ecole Normale Superieur Israélite Orientale, France, until his death. His major works include Totality and Infinity (1961) and Otherwise than Being (1974).
