Small and medium-sized businesses face a double challenge: a turbulent environment and a lack of resources. To cope with this reality, SMEs are called upon to develop appropriate organizational responses. In recent years, organizational resilience (OR) has emerged as an appropriate solution, on a par with performance and efficiency. Several determinants of OR in SMEs have been identified, including: the crucial role of the managing entrepreneur. This article puts forward a conceptual framework that explains the relationship between entrepreneurial behavior through ambidexterity and OR, while mobilizing the theory of Focus regulators. Research hypotheses have been developed to shed light on the mechanisms governing this relationship.
