Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) represent 90% of the economic power of our country today, generating thousands of jobs and impacting the environment directly and indirectly. This book seeks to analyse the environmental management methods proposed by some authors, seeking to understand the particularities that involve an environmental management system. In the development process, the environmental issue in organisations and MSEs in particular is addressed. From the literature review, an environmental management method dedicated to MSEs is proposed, aiming at reducing the impact generated by them. Finally, through a multi-case study, the environmental management method is compared with the environmental management practices adopted by the MSEs analysed.
