Prof. Sheikh Raisuddin is a distinguished toxicologist, currently serving as the Dean (Academics), Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi. He has been the Dean, School of Chemical & Life Sciences and the Head, Department of Medical Elementology & Toxicology. Prof. Raisuddin earned his Ph.D. from CSIR - Indian Institute of Toxicology Research (affiliated with Dr. R.M. Lohia University), Lucknow. With over three decades of teaching and research experience in the field of toxicology, he has guided more than 50 Ph.D. students and authored over 180 research papers in highly reputed journals. His contributions to the field have been recognized with numerous prestigious awards including the Life Time Achievement Award of the Society of Toxicology (India) and the Senior Fellowship of the International Union of Toxicology. Dr. Shahzad Ahmad is working as an assistant professor in the Department of Medical Elementology and Toxicology, School of Chemical and Life Sciences at Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi. With a strong research focus on toxicology and environmental health, Dr. Ahmad has made significant contributions to understanding the effects of environmental pollutants on human health. He has published numerous research articles in high-impact journals and has been actively involved in mentoring students and guiding research projects. Dr. Mehjbeen Javed graduated from the Department of Zoology, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, India, and is a recipient of several prestigious national fellowships and awards. Her expertise includes aquatic toxicology, heavy metal and pesticide toxicity, risk assessment, endocrine disruption, and next-generation sequencing. Dr. Javed has published extensively in international journals, focusing on the toxicity of heavy metals and pesticides, with special reference to biomarkers. Her current research involves ovarian toxicity and transcriptome analysis.
