Renan Dias Oliveira es licenciado en Ciencias Sociales por la Universidad Federal de São Carlos (UFSCAR) y en Historia por la Universidad de Franca (UNIFRAN). Tiene un máster en Política Científica y Tecnológica por el Instituto de Geociencias de la Universidad de Campinas (UNICAMP), con un período de prácticas en la Universidad de Buenos Aires (UBA).
