Autorenporträt
Nick Carbó was born in Legazpi, Bicol in the Philippines. He graduated from St. Mary's University with a BA in English and Sarah Lawrence College with an MFA in Creative Writing. He has authored five books of poetry, the most recent one before Epithalamion being Chinese, Japanese, What are these? He has been awarded fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts and the New York Foundation for the Arts. He has served as Poet-in-Residence in universities like Columbia College, Chicago, the University of Miami, and the New College of Florida.
