Mariskal Romero, asesor de este libro, ha sido pionero de la radio y la prensa musical rockera en España. Ha trabajado en todas las emisoras nacionales, fundó el sello discográfico Chapa y cuenta entre muchos hitos profesionales el haber hecho una maratón de 48 horas de emisión radidada ininterrumpida, tras el asesinato de John Lennon. Dirige la revista La Heavy. Con Almuzara ha publicado: Eso no estaba en mi libro de Historia del Heavy Metal junto a Mariano Muniesa. Mariano Muniesa (Madrid, 1967) acumula una larga y prolífica carrera en el periodismo musical, tanto en prensa escrita como en radio y televisión. Ha dirigido y presentado diversos programas dedicados al mundo del rock en Cadena 100 Cope, Onda Cero, Cadena SER - 40 Principales, Mariskalrock.com y M21 Radio. En televisión, hizo lo propio con su programa Rock Star en 40 TV - Canal+, además de participar en otros espacios en Onda 6 TV y Canal Red. En prensa escrita, desde mediados de los años 80 fue redactor en revistas especializadas como Popular 1, Heavy Rock, LH Magazine y Rolling Stone, subdirector de Kerrang! y director y editor de la edición española de la revista alemana Rock Hard (2000-2006) y de Rock Star (2007-2008). Ha colaborado, entre otros, con el diario ourensano La Región y Diario Red. Ha escrito numerosos libros centrados en el mundo del rock, siendo el autor con más obras publicadas en castellano sobre los Rolling Stones a nivel mundial, además de biografías de The Who, Led Zeppelin, Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, Metallica y Rammstein, entre otros. Desde diciembre de 2024, es miembro del Consejo de Administración de la Corporación RTVE.
