Joe Mahler's articles and illustrations appear in Fly Fishing in Saltwater, Saltwater Sportsman, and other publications. Mahler is an FFF-certified fly-casting instructor, member of the Outdoor Writers Association of America, and is currently president of the Sunshine State Casting Club. He lives in Fort Myers, Florida.
