João Carvalho Dias (editor) is an art historian and researcher in the field of collecting at ARTIS ― the Institute of Art History, University of Lisbon. As Curator of European books, drawings and prints for the Gulbenkian Collection (2014–22), he published European Illuminated Manuscripts in the Calouste Gulbenkian Collection (2020). He was the former Deputy Director of the Calouste Gulbenkian Museum.
