This exceptional volume, authored by the FOUNDER of an acclaimed children's GRIEF AND trauma recovery center, proposes a remarkable model for healing based on fundamental physics. Healing from the pain of loss and trauma is a process-one that doesn't take a linear path. Many are beginning to realize that emotional healing is deeply physical, requiring an environment where our bodies can come back to life, piece by tiny piece. In Everything That Happens Is Right: A Quantum Model for Grief Work with Children, Cynthia L. White presents an innovative approach to understanding and healing childhood grief and trauma. Drawing from over four decades of experience working with grief and trauma recovery programs, White introduces a quantum model that redefines trauma and grief as energetic processes in the body. Writing from a place of deep empathy based on her own journey, White's insights are felt and earned, remarkably perceptive, and the kind of genuine comfort that only a true poet can provide. Readers will learn:Practical guidance on working with children who have suffered loss and trauma Specific skills that can help readers or their clients take the next steps in trauma healing What quantum mechanics teaches us about the body How love and connection facilitate adaptation to loss and trauma Written for professionals, caregivers, and anyone invested in the emotional healing of children, this book encourages readers to embrace their capacity to co-create a world where grief work transcends trauma. Fans of Eckhart Tolle, Gary Zukav, and Deepak Chopra will resonate with this revolutionary perspective on grief and trauma, offering hope and healing for all.
