During her studies and beyond, Wilma Waibel focused on activity in a therapeutic sense and its relevance for an autonomous life. This brought the relevance of the political dimension of activity to the fore. Current social and political issues clearly demonstrate the relevance of this political commitment, including for occupational therapy. She was inspired by the numerous works of Frank Kronenberg, who dealt extensively with the political dimension of activity.
