Fabulations: dance actions on the surface was born from the study that accompanied the research for the construction of the choreographic work, Fabulations. It is a proposal for a performative writing of movements, the scene and dance theory, in which technical and stylistic references are questioned about their determinant character for the construction and framing of bodies. It is through the doubts presented to dance, under the status of an artistic language, that we propose the construction of a fragmented, interrupted discourse, in which the contagions suffered in the encounters realised in the world cannot be neglected. Representation is given the quality of expressing meaning, and language is constructed on the surface, taking on the internal paradoxes inherent in the fatality of its emergence. The mirror is used as a metaphor of differentiation for the construction of discourse, which only has similarity as a possibility and demands recognition.
