Geraldine lives in Dublin, Ireland with her husband, two boys and her mother. Her work is mainly set in Ireland, especially in her beloved Dublin. A lot of her work draws on Irish heritage and society, and in her spare time she teaches Irish mythology, folk lore, and folk magic. She studied in UCD, worked in Advertising and Publishing and finally returned to her family roots to run a famous music shop in Dublin. She retired in 2021 to devote herself full time to writing and teaching. She writes poetry, non-fiction, crime and mystery novels. She also writes popular cozy mysteries under the pen name Nina Hayes.
