Bradbury also wrote The Martian Chronicles and The Illustrated Man, among others. Among novels, short story collections, poems, and plays, he published over thirty books. He was highly active in the worlds of film, theater, and television. In 1989, he was named Grand Master of the SFWA (Science Fiction Writers of America) and in 1999, he received the SF Hall of Fame for his entire career. His poetic style and social critique made him a literary icon. Winner of multiple awards, including the Pulitzer Prize and the National Medal of Arts, Bradbury continues to inspire readers of all ages with his imagination and vision of the future.
