Roxanne R. Mead ? My faith was calling me to step forward, it was time to get out of the box.? We all like to feel secure and in control even when we know we are not. The irony of all this is the fact I had to admit just how finite I was.? We all have a good mind with the right to make a choice if you ever expect to see your purpose fulfilled in your life.? That is what caused me to author this book. I was not sure what my purpose was. I was just paying bills, taxes, and not intentionally trying to hurt anyone. I was so busy being busy. I did not even really know my neighbors. I had nothing as my focus was just on my work. As this may sound sad, it was true, and I learned speaking to my colleagues they also felt just the same. I then knew I had to know the real purpose of my life. I was given my breath each day and somehow, I knew my life needed to have?true ? real meaning.? I learned you had to ride with the tide of change because the only thing that was not going to change was change. ? It was not extremely popular for women to have a career and to be in a with a position of leadership; however, I was determined that I was not just an ordinary woman.? Questioning myself at times I seemed to be trying to find what was my self-worth? And how was I to know my own self-image. Was this an ego trip I was on? Or just my hunger to understand the real person inside of me. ? I even worried wondering if I was going through a midlife crisis. ? Have you ever walked into a room talking to yourself questioning why you're in there and-you cannot remember why? Wow the shock of this will send cold chill through you! That's when I recalled I have mind well educated.? I looked at my degrees hanging on my office wall to encourage me; however, today they only appeared to be able to just collect dust .? If I was ever to step forward, I needed an answer as to Who was I? What was my purpose in life. ? Perhaps right now you are just like I was so that's why this book will encourage you as well to see your values and talent.? I am going to help you identify your purpose in life. Remember it's not too late, if you want to try to give yourself a chance. So, let's begin with my story. Psalms 103:11 NIV For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him; This fear is understood as to honor and for us to respect that He is God. Now it is time that you are to choose what you would believe and what you wish to become.
