Only Kat and Jerry could turn a pleasant ride on a Space Elevator into a death-defying experience. But where these two adventurers go, trouble soon rears its ugly head. A simple case of mistaken identity ensnares the vacationing couple in a dangerous conspiracy, forcing them to fight for their lives both in space and down on the planet. And if they can manage to survive an uncontrolled plunge down the Space Elevator cable, they still have to stay one step ahead of the criminals hot on their trail. It's one challenge after another, with seemingly no safe place to escape to, as an entire planet threatens to engineer a tragic end to Kat and Jerry's short-lived tourist trip. And the worst part is: if they fail to make it out alive, who will feed the cat they left on their ship?
