Autorenporträt
Jackie Schabert is married and a mother of two. She always enjoyed writing throughout her life and in 2023 decided to give her words the time and focus they finally deserved. Writing became another love, and another way to explore and express her life's experiences. Poetry, in particular, opened a doorway into her memories of growing up on a dairy farm in Chetek, Wisconsin. Through writing, poem by poem, word by word, memories about her parents, family, and farm living were unearthed, and enabled Jackie to discover more about her life's purpose and who she became: a woman who deeply cares about family, faith, and finding meaning.
