'Alain-G. Gagnon is one of Quebec's leading political scientists, and no one is better qualified than he to explain Quebec's perspective on Canadian federalism to an Anglo-Canadian audience. Federalism, Citizenship, and Quebec is more than a mere polemic. Gagnon and Iacovino's scholarship is beyond reproach and the book is a distinguished addition to the literature on Quebec, Canadian federalism, and Canadian politics more generally.'-Garth Stevenson
