Feels is a book for everyone. Inspired by real-life scenarios, Redondo's debut poetry collection invites us to reflect on who we are as people, and how we respond to the world around us. Through playful verse and vibrant illustrations, Feels is an emotional exploration of our most fundamental, universally-shared experience: Feeling. Articulating phenomena like happiness, anger, love, and forgiveness, Feels encourages readers to tap into their emotions on a personal level, pairing heartfelt stanzas with stimulating illustrations that beam off each page. Like their poetry, Redondo's artwork evokes distinct moods and feelings in rich variety-all while emphasizing consistent themes of acceptance, empathy, community, and self-care. Emotions meet us at every age. Feels invites you to welcome each one with open arms. Be brave, be strong, and be kind. Free your feels and see what you find.
Autorenporträt
Steven began his writing career in 2020 while studying to achieve a degree in Business Marketing, he'd like to believe writing would always find its way to him. And as a queer author Steven's first book "Feels" is a poetic exploration through the ways we navigate our emotions in the world around us while utilizing vibrant illustrations to express the mood of each emotion. He is excited to be working on two additional books for "Feels". He finds inspiration in everyday life, color, art, music, romance, and the LGBTQ+ experience and hopes to blend these worlds together in future writing projects.
