This book explores the relationship between financial development and economic growth, combining a theoretical framework with empirical validation. Through an applied study on a panel of developing countries, it assesses the role of the banking sector and financial markets in growth dynamics. The analysis highlights the convergences and discrepancies between theory and economic reality, while underlining the institutional and structural conditions required for finance to become a genuine lever for development.
