She lost herself in heartbreak-and found her voice in the wreckage. In this raw and deeply personal poetry collection, one woman unravels the quiet ache of a love that dimmed her light, the weight of expectations that stole her name, and the courage it took to let go of a life that no longer served her. Through heartbreak, motherhood, friendship, and rediscovery, she writes her way back home to herself. With poems that speak to the broken, the healing, and the rising, this collection is for anyone who has ever questioned their worth, loved too hard, stayed too long, or finally chosen themselves. Tender, fierce, and unapologetically honest-this is not just a story of survival. It's a story
Autorenporträt
This is the debut published work by Kelsey, who has dreamed of becoming an author since her seventh-grade English Language Arts class. Though she didn't pursue writing in college, her passion for words never faded. Instead, she followed a different calling-becoming a teacher-and has spent the past 13 years inspiring students in both middle and high school English classrooms. A proud mother of two beautiful daughters, Kelsey has balanced her roles as educator and parent with strength, grace, and heart. Now, she's finally answering the quiet dream that's always lived within her: to write and share her story. This book marks the beginning of that journey-and she's only just getting started.
