You're invited on a journey ...twenty years of flotsam and jetsamwashing onto my beach ... moments of observation and birthing waymarks of inner and outer journey in a turbulent landthe vagaries of silence and wordspassion, sadness, hard-hitting indictments acceptance, deep peace and reverence. The heavy weight and flimsy nothing of existenceilluminating fragments of a life fully examined. "A brilliant record of far-flung experience and the ongoing process of making sense of it through language." Jacques Coetzee, author of An Illuminated Darkness and co-author of The Love Sheet.

Autorenporträt
From 1997-2018 I ran my own business designing and illustrating workplace communication and training materials in South Africa - a turbulent landscape. Topics included Environmental Health & Safety, Integrity & Diversity and HIV/AIDS Awareness amongst many others. As a result of my HIV/AIDS Awareness training work, I started a Trust for HIV affected children. I was also involved in environmental activism, all whilst being a mom. I am passionate about making a difference through words, and in 2017 completed a part-time Honours degree in English Studies. Flotsam and Jetsam: a half-life of poems contains snapshots of personal and psychosocial observations and experiences over this time. In 2018 I moved to UK to forge a path as a writer.
