Trish is a Zimbabwean-born Canadian whose professional journey spans science, business and public service. The sixth daughter of Cyril, the main character in the book; Trish's early career in microbiology and embryology reflects her lifelong passion for discovery and problem-solving. Today, she is an accomplished entrepreneur, author, speaker and City Councillor in Coquitlam, British Columbia.Inspired by her father's real-life journey of perseverance and resilience, Trish crafted this book as a tribute to his legacy and a source of inspiration for children around the globe. Through her father's story, she learned to see challenges as opportunities-a perspective she hopes to share with young readers through this heartfelt tale.This book also honors the memory of her late mother Matilda and father, Cyril, whose life stories shaped her and her six sisters-Lorna, Stella, Josephine, Anna, Clare, and Kanu. Trish is deeply grateful for the unwavering support from her husband Alex and daughter Alexandra.Trish dedicates this book to orphans around the world, hoping it will inspire them to dream big and overcome adversity.
