Mary J Nichols has been writing for seventeen years, having short stories published, some under a former pen name. Introduced to the tabletop roleplaying game Dungeons & Dragons at a young age, and still an active player, Mary found her niche in fantasy romance. Writers such as Margaret Weis, Tracy Hickman, Terry Brooks, and Richard Knaak, as well as Guy Gavriel Kay's "The Fionavar Tapestry", have been inspirations throughout her life. Mary lives in southeast Michigan with her family. She loves playing games, camping, and watching movies with them. When alone and not writing, she listens to music and reads. She adores her two mini-dachshunds, even if they try to suffocate her with their love.
