Dr. Hundley draws from 35 years of experience as a part-time county Medical Examiner to pen his fictitious mysteries. He graduated from VCU's Medical College and still works as an emergency physician in rural North Carolina. His wife, Lucy, lives with him in his hometown of Boydton, Virginia, which is also the setting for his novels. They enjoy their horses and the local lake.
