CATHY HOLDEN is a tutor at the Institute for Applied Language Studies, University of Edinburgh, UK. She has taught Spanish, French and English in a variety of Higher and Further Education establishments, including Manchester Metropolitan University and Staffordshire University. In addition to' Foundation Spanish 1', she has co-written two books for the Open University's Spanish Course.
MARIA DEL CARMEN GIL ORTEGA is a Teaching Fellow at the University of St Andrews, Scotland, UK. She previously taught Spanish at the University of Sussex, UK and also with Sixth Form and Adult Education students. She has been involved in various materials design projects including the on-line www.doki.tv course.
