N.J. Simat is multidisciplinary writer from Atlanta, Georgia. She earned a BA in Pre-Veterinary Medicine from Georgia State, and studied creative writing at Emory. She is the author of two novels, Club Daze & The Subtle Realm (Canary Agency 2021), with the sequel Astral Academy forthcoming. Her poetry is sometimes written under late grandmother's name Xaida Jean, and has recently been published by Lemon Jelly Press. She is also the creative director for Phil Lit Journal.
