He was on the ground for the momentous Good Friday earthquake in Anchorage in 1964 and in Islamabad for the assassination of President Zia-ul-Haq in 1988. Along the way he enjoyed a six decade plus marriage to Durelle, raised two kids, had four grandkids, college graduates all; and now has three great-grandkids. Frank Cloutier retired from the Air Force in 1980 as a Lt. Col. He then worked for Sanders Assoc. ,Hazeltine Corp., Fairchild Industries, Lockheed, and BAE Systems. His second retirement was in 1997. He has degrees from USMA, U. of Alaska, and U. of Oklahoma. He has been married to Durelle for 62 years. They have two children, four grand children and three great grands. They have accumulated over 350,000 miles in four motorhomes.
